Cannabis, also known as marijuana among other names, is a psychoactive drug from the Cannabis plant used primarily for medical or recreational purposes. The main psychoactive component of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol, which is one of the 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 65 other cannabinoids.

Side effects from cannabis can vary from dry mouth to psychoactive. Please refer to the CDC’s website for more details about the Heath Effects of cannabis.
We currently are only able to perform Medical Marijuana Certifications under the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP). You must be a Michigan resident, providing a valid Michigan photo ID or out of state ID with a Michigan voters registration card as proof, in-order to be evaluated for medical cannabis.
Alternative Treatment Options
Medical cannabis is considered an alternative treatment option. Learn more about medical marijuana here on the Harvard website. Alternative treatments to cannabis would be considered traditional pain management and/or relative clincal treatment.
If you choose to have us file your paperwork for you, it may take up to 24 business hours for the State of Michigan to approve your online application. If you are using an Identification Card, please be aware the state may need to approve your application manually which may take additional time.
